One lovely summer Sunday evening we were whizzing back from a day on Shell beach, Herm, and came upon this lovely tranquil scene. I yelled at my husband to slow the boat so I could take a photo; and from this, and from my memory, I tried to capture it in oil paint. The sailing boat was slowly making its way home and it looked so peaceful in the evening light.

I hope it gives you a feeling of tranquility and peace.
